Northwest Beef Express LLC is Hiring a Tire Technician Near Hermiston, OR

Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Mounting and dismounting tires, flat repairs, and vehicle inspections. This is the core of the business function and a starting point for all other positions.

  • 5 Days a Week (Tuesday thru Saturday)
  • $23.00 an Hour

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform tire work (primarily commercial). Mount and dismount, air pressure checks, balancing, tire rotation and flat repairs. Ensures lug nuts are tightened to the proper torque specifications.
  • Including proper receiving of product into location prior to putting away.
  • Complete Service Calls to a Particular Location if Needed.
  • End of shift duties completed (cleaning, finishing work, manager approval).
  • Ensures that customer satisfaction and communication is of the upmost importance.
  • Facility maintenance and clean-up including but not limited to: 
  1. Assist in organization of all tire and lube shop related supplies. 
  2. Warehouse Organization to include ensuring like tires are together, inventory is faced, rows are clean and tidy and help ensure the area stays safe for operating. 
  3. Maintains a high level of cleanliness of your workspace including bay areas, Commercial Tire Vehicles, and customer vehicles.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated desire for mechanical work.
  • Experience in a vehicle maintenance shop (preferred).
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are required and are an essential job function.
